This term as part of our Partnership Development we worked with the University of Kent to hold Super Saturday’s for year’s 4 and 5.
In week one year 4 and 5 students dove into the world of forensic science learning how to use various forensic methods including finger printing, ink testing, collecting evidence and how it's tested.
Week two saw them take the next steps as forensic investigators. Putting the little investigators to the test as they used their newfound skills to crack the case of the stolen school dog. With multiple suspects they to gather evidence to find the thief.
Their third and finally week, saw them retire their skills and put them to good use. Setting pen to paper and writing their own crime story by channeling their own inner Agatha Christie.
All the students and staff had an amazing time and really got involved.
