We will be reading an exciting extract involving the great ‘detective’ skills of Sherlock Holmes. You will have an opportunity to work together to discuss your hypothesis about what crime has been committed (in the extract) by whom and how. Then you will have time to create your very own detective.

How many ways can you decorate a biscuit? Using logic and patterns, students will work out how many different ways to decorate a biscuit given different limitations. They will of course choose their favourite way and enjoy their biscuit!
